The Quarry Shrewsbury, July 2003.
A community play, which commemorated the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Shrewsbury. A total of 180 young people performed, plus dancers, musicians and Tako drummers, making the total taking part 250. The plot was based around the Battle of Shrewsbury, but also looked at the modern interpretation of war and conflict, and even predicted that no 'weapons of mass destruction' would be found in Iraq.
